Parts list for replacement Addi crank.

This is the crank Jack shows you how to make in the YouTube video. It does work well. If you make one, remember these cautionary notes:

1) support the crank when not in use.It is heavier than the original and we don't want to stress the shaft.

2) you must crank with the machine at the edge of the table or the crank will not rotate.

3)Altering any machine voids the warranty.

4) Don't be too speedy. This could damage the machine. Just be happy that it is now less tiring to crank at the same speed.

1 styling hairbrush with bristles removed
1 1/4 /20 x 5" carriage bolt
3 small 1/4" fender washers
1 1/4/ 20 hex nut
1 1/4/ 20 lock nut [nyl-lock]
1 #4-40X/3/4" [or 1"] round head machine screw with nut
1 round head slotted brass wood screw #4X3/4"
7/16 od X 5/16 id plastic tubing [found in plumbing department] need 5" but will probably have to buy 1'
1/2"[15mm] CPVC 4120 [this is small plumbing pipe and anything else similar that the clear plastic tube will slide inside of will work] You only need 5" but will probably have to buy 5'.
The collective materials should not cost over $10.
