NOTES:
1: This pattern is for #5 or #6 yarn on any single knitting loom that will knit them nicely. Many Knifty Knitters and similar looms will do this. 5/8" Cindwood looms work well. A Kiss regular gauge loom may be adjusted to do this well. The Kiss Dragon loom is also an appropriate gauge.
2: All purl stitches are tucked purls. Counting from one side to the other of the 18 pegs in use, these take place on pegs 2, 4, 6, 13, 15, 17. When wrapping left to right, wrap these pegs but DON'T knit the stitch over. When wrapping from right to left, wrap these pegs and work purl stitches, working through both the existing stitch AND the wrap.
3. The 6 center stitches are the cable but only 4 of them are cabled in any particular row. A portion of the cable is worked every 4th row. First cable cross: lift the 4 right hand stitches of the group of 6 off of their pegs. Move the 2 stitches that began at the outer edge to the 2 pegs nearer the center. Next settle the two remaining stitches on the outer 2 pegs. Second cable cross: lift the 4 left hand stitches of the group of 6 off of their pegs. Move the 2 stitches that began at the outer edge to the 2 pegs nearer the center. Next settle the two remaining stitches on the outer 2 pegs. While cabling, you may use any kind of stitch holder to secure 2 stitches while moving the other 2. A safety pin or your fingertips may do fine.
4. This is a simple version of the pattern. The one for sale on Ravelry includes a refinement causing each end of the ribbing to be a knit stitch.
Cast on 18 or 14, working from left to right. Any neat cast on is fine . Work 3 rows of knit 1, purl 1 rib. Working yarn ends on the left. The pattern is written for 18 stitches. If you choose 14, omit one knit and one purl at each end of the work on every row.

You may want to chain stitch through the cast on and bind off to tidy them up and make them match. Weave in all ends.
